Getting enough exercise while staying at home during the coronavirus quarantine? How about your dog? Not to worry, because this new walking calculator app will tell you if Fido is getting the necessary amount of laps.
Walking Calculator For Dogs
We all know that exercise is essential for our health and well-being so it should go without saying that we still need to find ways to work up a good sweat even if all of us are stuck at home self-isolating and practicing social distancing. Thankfully, it’s not hard to do and anyone who has ample space will be able to exercise easily on a daily basis.
But with that being said, is your dog getting the exercise it needs to? And if so, is it enough? Thankfully, a clever new tool is aimed to help dog owners calculate the number of laps that Fido needs in order to get the proper amount of exercise during the lockdown.
Named the Work Out Your Walkies, the new calculator lets owners enter the breed of their dog as well as their age and how big your garden or running space is for your pet. From there, the app will be calculating the exact number of laps that your dog needs to do in order to reach the proper amount of exercise on a daily basis.
Because of the ongoing stay-at-home protocols caused by the coronavius pandemic, a lot of pet owners are finding it hard to take their dog out for a walk. Fortunately, this new app aims to give the puppies the proper amount of exercise that their health requires.
“It’s more important than ever that you put yourself and your dog’s health first and there’s no reason why you can’t do this from the comfort of your own home and garden,” the team behind the new walking calculator app said.
If you don’t have an outdoor space, however, there are still other ways to give your dog exercise, such as letting them run around or giving them toys to play with. Playing games with them such as fetch or tag can also help.
